DAPK Takes its Campaign in Kiminini, Trans Nzoia County.

Defense Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa led the Azimio la Umoja team in Trans Nzoia County drumming up support for Raila Odinga Presidential bid.

DAP-K Party leader Eugene Wamalwa led other political leaders at Kiminini where he unveiled the DAP-K candidate Maurice Bissau who will vie as Kiminini Member of Parliament.

The CS maintained that Raila Odinga is best suited candidate to be the next president of Kenya.

Wamalwa stated that, “I urge the people of Trans Nzoia, Western Kenya and the country at large to make a wise decision on August 9. Choose a candidate who will help turn around our economy in addition to bringing lasting peace in this country.”

Bissau pledged to put in place a good environment for innovators and entrepreneurs to thrive in Kiminini Constituency once elected.

Also, he promised to implement the policy of awarding youths 30 per cent of the National government constituency development fund tenders and to appoint youths in various sectors.

Wamalwa was accompanied by various DAP-K leaders including George Natembeya who during his speech promised to improve the agricultural sector by prioritizing budgetary allocations to jump start the maize sector which has been attacked by cartels.

He further said that he will improve the health sector within Trans Nzoia County by allocating more resources towards building modern heath centers and setting aside funds for completion and equipping of the county referral hospital.
