Trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria on Wednesday attacked comedian Eric Omondi over his sentiments on the Finance Bill.
In his sentiments, Omondi claimed that the government has not delivered its campaign promises to Kenyans adding that the government should focus on high cost of living rather than housing
“The Kenya Kwanza team promised Kenyans a better, cheaper and easy life. Today we are having the wrong conversation, we are talking about housing. There are no homeless people in Kenya, but there are hungry families and children. The conversation should be about the high cost of living.” the comedian said.
Moses Kuria tore him off claiming that he regrets funding him to visit the United States to see the World.
“I heard Eric saying he’s still young. Seven years ago, I took my money and paid for him to go to America so that he could see how the world is. Now, the way he’s talking, I would have rather used that money to party,” Kuria said.
Eric Omondi has several times been arrested for demonstrating the high cost of living.
