Langata MP Felix Odiwour alias ‘Jalango’ has been kicked out of a meeting in Machakos County.
The meeting organized by Azimio la Umoja parliamentary group is currently ongoing at Maanzoni Lodge in Machakos County.
A group of men caused a commotion at the hotel’s entrance on Thursday morning blocking Jalang’o from accessing the meeting hall.
The commotion was later resolved and the MP was allowed into the meeting, only to be kicked out moments later.
Jalang’o was allegedly asked to leave the meeting by Raila Odinga’s security.
His predicaments are being linked to a meeting he held with President William Ruto on Monday.
The Lang’ata legislator visited State House on Monday in the company of other Azimio MPs including; Gideon Ochanda (Bondo), Elisha Odhiambo (Gem), Mark Nyamita (Uriri), Caroli Omondi (Suba South), Shakeel Shabir (Kisumu East, Independent), Paul Abuor (Rongo), John Owino (Awendo) and Kisumu Senator Tom Ojienda.
“I feel bad. You know I love Baba… I am a member of ODM,” Jalango said when speaking to the press. I can’t regret meeting Ruto, I had gone there on my own capacity, and he called me for development issues,” Jalang’o explained.
When asked whether he would apologise for taking a different direction from his party, Jalang’o said that there is no apology about it that he went there for development.
“I am still in Azimio, I am still a member of ODM. This is politics,” he added.
