President William Ruto will be leading Kenyan’s Delegation for 77th time in United
Nations General Assembly [UNGA] which is to be held in New York, USA. The
president will attend the segment of the annual United Nations meeting from
September 20th to 23rd this year.
While in New York, the president is expected to debut address to the United Nations
and hold negotiations with several Heads of State and Government. The 77th UNGA
consistent of the worst drought in the horn part of Africa with many countries including
Kenya which are experiencing unprecedented effects in the last forty years.
In the United Nations Headquarters, Kenya will be seeking to promote its Foreign Policy
at the multilateral system, including enhancing participation in the inquiry for the realization
of SDGs and global leadership in emerging issues, including climate change.
The head of state Dr. Ruto, attended the working session meeting with the senior
representatives of the American businesses, during which he urged for increased trade
between both countries.
